The 117th Air Refueling Wing is bringing its KC-135R Stratotanker back to North Alabama.

The Alabama Air National Guard announced it will conduct another flyover Thursday to honor area healthcare workers and first responders. The Guard conducted flyovers throughout the state yesterday but low, heavy cloud cover meant that many people in Huntsville and Decatur weren’t able to see the plane.

The approximate times for the May 7 flyover are:

Decatur/Morgan County – 10:30 a.m.

Madison – 10:33 a.m.

Huntsville Downtown – 10:38 a.m.

Crestwood Medical – 10:39 a.m.

The flyover may be delayed or postponed due to weather, air traffic or maintenance.
