Today is the day you can test your running abilities and see if you can complete 5k Cross Country/Trail Race. We invite you to register at the race site from 6:30am until 7:15am today, on June 12th. The race is a 5k cross country/trail course that will be challenging for everyone on the trails at Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve.
There will be grass, gravel, and dirt sections. To get to the Chapman Mtn parking area take HWY 72 W from Moore’s Mill Rd, stay in the far right merge lane as you go up the mountain, when the guard rail ends turn right. If you are coming from Madison or downtown Huntsville on 565/72E you will need to make a u-turn at Moore’s Mill Rd.
