Celebrate Earth Day at Huntsville Botanical Garden

Happy Earth Day! / almanac.com

“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

We celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG

Join Huntsville Botanical Garden in big celebration of our planet. Express your gratitude for all the beautiful gifts from the Mother Earth.

At Botanical Earth Day Celebration you will be able to discover hands-on activities and festivities at stations throughout the Garden. From digging into the soil with worm, planting seeds to building bird feeders from recycled materials, reading stories and so much more.

Every activity will explore a different way that we can all appreciate our natural surroundings, help protect our environment, and celebrate our Earth.
