Cinco de Mayo celebration with the Fiero

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and throughout North America. Its name (meaning May fifth) comes from the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War which happened on May 5, 1862 when a Mexican army won a famous victory against a numerically superior French force.

The Fiero, a Mexican street food restaurant which offers mouth-watering street food favorites is celebrating Cinco de Mayo by giving free lunch of enchiladas, rice, beans, chips and drink with a cash donation to the Food Bank of North Alabama on Wednesday, May 5th from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Fiero is famous for paying homage to Mexican tradition and serving Mexican street food full of complex flavors like burritos, tacos, elotes and Chicken Milanesa Torta with crispy fried chicken breast, black beans, avocado, pickled jalapeno, lettuce, tomato, mayo, red onion, Oaxacan Cheese on a torta roll.
