City Lights & Stars: Eric Essix

City Lights & Stars Concert Series are bringing Eric Essix, a jazz musician from Birmingham who continues to push the boundaries of contemporary jazz. The concert will take place on Burritt on the Mountain on Friday, July 2nd.

The latest Essicx’s album (all written, arranged and produced by him) is called “Songs From The Deep”. This latest effort by Eric, revisits the artist’s favorite theme, his Birmingham, Alabama southern roots. It is a project that reveals the soul of the man and his music as he continues to reconcile love for his homeland, its culture and its people, with its history.

Food trucks will be onsite with food for purchase. All Ticket Sales end the day of concert at 4 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Don’t forget to pack a picnic, dress casually, bring a blanket or lawn chair! We hope you will enjoy a spectacular view of the city while listening to great music.
