Huntsville’s beloved weekly sunset gathering is back for another season. Cocktails at The View returns to Burritt on the Mountain starting April 2, 2025, offering spectacular panoramic views of the city every Wednesday evening through October.
The popular outdoor event takes place at The View venue, perched atop Burritt Mountain at 3101 Burritt Drive. Guests can watch stunning sunsets while enjoying drinks and light fare from 5 to 8 p.m. each week. Moreover, the event continues rain or shine, moving to the covered Pavilion during inclement weather.
Attendees can choose from VIP reserved tables or grab open seating on a first-come basis. Additionally, organizers encourage carpooling to help with limited mountain parking. The venue provides a full bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase with cash or credit cards.
Furthermore, small appetizers and snacks are sold on-site each evening. However, guests wanting gourmet appetizer platters must pre-order by 4 p.m. the Monday before each event. The venue also accommodates private parties and group events with special menus available.
The weekly gathering has become a signature Huntsville tradition, drawing locals and visitors to one of the city’s most scenic locations. Therefore, the event offers an affordable way to experience breathtaking views without admission fees. Guests simply need to purchase their own beverages and food.
