The Huntsville Model Boating Association is hosting a radio controlled speed event April 18 through the 22nd from sunup to sundown weather permitting. At the southern lake of Brahan Spring Park across the lake from the Huntsville Aquatic Center.
They have had boats run at over 170mph in past events.
As an additional bonus NASCAR CUP DRIVER of car #19 Bass Pro car MartinTruex Jr. will be running his model boats hoping to raise his speed records of over 100 mph. Come out and meet him the event is free!
