Hurry up and visit “The Elegant Vessel” exhibition

Huntsville Museum of Art by Tyler Brown

Hurry up and visit this great exhibition “Looking at the Collection: The Elegant Vessel” at Huntsville Museum of Art. You still have time until April 4th, 2021 which is the last day of exhibit.

This exhibition includes historical and contemporary works from Museum’s permanent collection in glass, ceramic, metal and wood and explores the form of a cup, pitcher or a vase in various appearances – emphasizing its inherent beauty and its capability to serve as a metaphor for extended meaning.

Featured artists include Shane Fero, Benjamin Moore, Robin Rodgers, Rosanne Somerson, and many more.

Dante Marioni is inspired by ancient Mediterranean prototypes with his Leaf Vae pair.

Shane Fero’s flameworked glass Jade Moon Bottle strikes a balance between form, color, proportion and process, as well as Rude Osolnik‘s minimal turned wood Bowl and Benjamin Moore’s blown glass Selenium Red Interior Fold Platter.
