IronMountain Solutions said the program has now given nearly $190,000 back to the community since the fun was founded in 2018.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — IronMountain Solutions awarded $45,860 to 15 North Alabama non-profit organizations as a part of it Employee Peaks Fund.

The following organizations received grants from the fund:

  • 305 8th Street
  • AGAPE
  • Alabama Nonviolent Offenders Association
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Alabama
  • Care Center
  • Free2Teach
  • Huntsville Assistance Program
  • Huntsville Hospital Foundation
  • Huntsville Inner City Learning Center
  • North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless
  • Safe Harbor
  • Second Mile Development
  • Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Inc.
  • Stand Down Together Huntsville
  • Therapy Partners

IronMountain Solutions said the program has now given nearly $190,000 back to the community since the fun was founded in 2018.

“In a year like 2020, our non-profit and volunteer community needs us more than ever. We are all adapting to a new way of work and life. In a time that has brought so much change, it is humbling to see that the giving nature of IMS employees remains strong,” said IMS President & CEO Hank Isenberg.

IMS said the fund is run entirely by employees, headed by a board of directors. The company said more than 80% of its employees contribute to the fund through payroll deductions.

The program awards grants to qualified applicants twice a year based on a vote by employee contributors, IMS said. Grant applications will reopen in spring 2021.
