A sandwich franchise is planning three restaurants in the Huntsville area, with the first to serve customers next year.
Florida-based Jon Smith Subs will open its first location at 11156 County Line Rd. sometime in the first quarter of 2022, according to an announcement by the company.
Jon Smith Subs are founded in Palm Beach County in 1988 and they are home of the Steak Bomb, with marinated sirloin steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, and provolone cheese. The menu also features the popular Gator, Cuban, Grilled Veggie, Hot Pastrami, Reuben and Cajun Chicken sandwiches. All subs are available served in a bowl as a gluten free option, with salads and a kids menu.
They use farm-fresh vegetables that are cut each day and Italian-style and whole wheat sub rolls that are baked fresh daily to guarantee every part of the sub will be as mouth-watering as possible. For those with a sweet tooth looking for a perfect ending to their Jon Smith meal can choose warm, delicious cookies!
The Jon Smith Subs in Huntsville/Madison will be owned and operated by Mike Gorden. Currently Jon Smith Subs has franchise agreements in place for more than 40 locations in the U.S. and abroad.
