Join the Humanities Center, the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, and the Department of Philosophy for the first in a series of public lectures by Professor Bryan Van Norden, 2023 Visiting Eminent Scholar.

His first public lecture at UAH, Learning from Chinese Philosophy, defends the idea that Chinese philosophy is nuanced, insightful and relevant to problems discussed in modern Western academic philosophy.
