The parade consisted of a firetruck, a police car, ponies, Santa Claus and of course a long line of cars full of friends wishing him a happy birthday.

His wife, Susan did all of this in secret in order to surprise him on his big day.

"She's the love of my life, and she takes care of me," said Pete Black.

"And we've been married for 36 years, and you take vows when you get married and part of the vows is, in sickness and health and I know he would do the same thing for me," said Susan Black.

Pete says there is still a lot more progress to make when it comes to researching early onset Alzheimer's - and Susan says it's best to make everyday fun.

Happy Birthday Pete!
