A retailer that specializes in clothing and accessories for tweens is permanently closing hundreds of stores, including 11 in Alabama and two in metro Birmingham.
Justice is closing 600 brick-and-mortar locations and will shift operations to online, according to court documents viewed by USA Today.
The retailer's parent company, Ascena Retail Group, filed for bankruptcy last week. The New Jersey-based company also owns Lane Bryant, Catherines, Ann Taylor, Loft, Lou & Grey and Cacique.
