The annual Pride celebration comes back to Huntsville with a day-long festival featuring entertainment, food, and community connection at The Orion Amphitheater this fall.
Rocket City Pride Festival will take place on October 19, 2025, from noon to 6:00 PM at The Orion Amphitheater. This free community event brings together residents and visitors for six hours of celebration in Huntsville’s premier outdoor venue.
The festival promises diverse entertainment throughout the afternoon. Local drag performers will take the stage alongside Huntsville-based musicians. Additionally, food trucks will serve various cuisines while vendors from across the region showcase their businesses in the Apollo South area.
This year’s celebration emphasizes community building and local talent. Moreover, attendees can explore offerings from area businesses while enjoying drink specials. Furthermore, the event serves as both entertainment and a gathering space for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.
The festival represents one of Huntsville’s largest annual Pride celebrations. Consequently, it draws participants from across North Alabama. Similarly, the event highlights the city’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Local organizers work year-round to coordinate this celebration. Therefore, the festival has grown significantly since its inception. Additionally, The Orion Amphitheater provides an ideal setting with its 8,000-person capacity and modern facilities.
Huntsville residents can attend this celebration without cost. Meanwhile, the central location makes it accessible for families and individuals throughout the region. Plus, the afternoon timing allows for maximum participation.
