Summerland 2021

We invite you to the Summerland Tour 2021 at Von Braun Center’s Mars Music Hall on Friday, July 30th, 2021. Original tickets for the 3rd Rock Outdoor Stage will be honored at Mars Music Hall.

The Mars Music Hall event will be General Admission Standing Room ONLY on the floor with special consideration given for VIP ticket holders. For more info, please contact the VBC on 256-533-1953.

The 2021 tour features Everclear, Living Colour, Hoobastank and Wheatus.

Everclear is an American rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1991. The band found success with their first three albums on Capitol Records: Sparkle and Fade, So Much for the Afterglow, and Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile, which were all certified platinum in sales. Everclear is influenced by the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Public Enemy, X, the Replacements, the Pixies, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Elvis Costello.

Living Colour is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 1984. Stylistically, their music is a creative fusion influenced by heavy metal, funk, jazz, hip hop, punk, and alternative rock. The band rose to fame with their debut album Vivid in 1988. Although they scored a number of hits, Living Colour is best known for their signature anthem “Cult of Personality”, which won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 1990.

Hoobastank is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Agoura Hills. Their single The Reason became a hit in 2004, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Hoobastank has been categorized under genres such as post-grunge, alternative rock, hard rock, and nu metal.

Wheatus is an American rock band from Northport, New York, formed in 1995. They are known principally for their 2000 single “Teenage Dirtbag”, which appeared in the films Loser and Bully, as well as the HBO miniseries Generation Kill, the Netflix original series Girlboss, and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
