Join Land Trust of North Alabama board member Glynn Below and naturalist Donna Baggette on an exploration of the numerous tree species along Chapman Mountain’s Terry Trail. Glynn and Donna will point out flora along the way, including the #HugaTreeLT July tree of the month: yellow poplar.
This is a moderate 2 hours / 2 miles hike!
You don’t need professional equipment, but it is good to have:
- long pants and comfortable shoes with good tread
- bottled water
- hiking sticks
- trail snacks
- a camera to capture the experience
- dogs welcome, but must be on leads.
- face covering required when 6ft distancing is not possible
In case of rain, hikes may be cancelled. All registered participants will be notified of cancellation via the email address provided.
