HUNTSVILLE, Ark. —
A worker at the Butterball plant in Huntsville tested positive for COVID-19, according to a spokesperson.
The worker has been put into self-quarantine.
Butterball employees who have had direct contact with the worker are being asked to also self-quarantine for 14 days. They will be given pay and benefits during that time.
Butterball already uses social distancing, sanitation protocols, daily temperature screenings and face masks at its plants, including the one in Huntsville, according to the spokesperson.
"The plant is open and operating at normal production rates," according to the spokesperson.
