The Orion Amphitheater<\/a><\/strong>, Huntsville’s newest live entertainment destination, will celebrate its opening weekend May 13-15, 2022<\/strong>, with The First Waltz<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 a landmark event featuring many of music’s most beloved artists<\/strong>, all of whom have deep ties to the north Alabama region.<\/p>\n

Across the momentous three-day event, there will be performances from The Aeolians of Oakwood University<\/a><\/strong>, Brittany Howard<\/a><\/strong>, Drive-by Truckers<\/a><\/strong>, Element XI<\/a><\/strong>, Emmylou Harris<\/a><\/strong>, Huntsville Community Drumline<\/a><\/strong>, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit<\/a><\/strong>, John Paul White<\/a><\/strong>, Kelvin Wooten & Deqn Sue<\/strong>, Mavis Staples<\/a><\/strong>, St. Paul & The Broken Bones<\/a><\/strong>, The N.E.I.G.H.B.O.R.S.<\/strong>, Translee<\/strong> and Waxahatchee<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The weekend will wrap on Sunday with an event featuring special performances from Huntsville’s own vibrant musical community hosted by Melody Shari <\/strong>and Dante Pride<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
