The competition is to design and build a rubber band powered ornithopter, similar to those found here: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ornithopter.org\/plans.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/ornithopter.org\/plans.shtml<\/a><\/strong>. Competitors will compete based on grade level: <strong>Group 1 (4th-8th), Group 2 (9th-12th), and Group 3 (undergraduate college).<\/strong> Students can sign up individually or as a team, limited to a maximum size of four students.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You need to design, build, and fly a rubber band powered flapping-wing aircraft.<\/li>\n<li>Students from 4th grade to Undergraduate College level.
